Inauguration of the Emile HUGOT laboratory

The new laboratory will be a precious tool for CERF, to help develop its research on new sources of economic value from sugarcane and continue its work on optimising sugar processing.
Headed by Laurent Corcodel, the Sugar Processing Department is currently working on the V2ARUN project, which was the first project to be approved by Qualitropic, Reunion Island’s competitive cluster. It was selected by the government as eligible for support from the Business Competitiveness Fund.

In this context, CERF decided to invest in these new technical and scientific resources, to be in the best position to meet the challenges.
